Description

When I started using Daz to make the pics to go with my fanfic I was hoping to create more dwarf-like characters and scale everyone accordingly, but then on the basis of my capabilities (practically non-existent as I am new at this) and the version of Daz I am using (the old Daz 3) I immediately realized I would have to compromise. The important thing (to me) is that I set the mood and that the scenes represent my story correctly. This is my version of Dis.

Like this for its atmosphere.

DS & dwarves: quite difficult. Since you are using 3.0 you might own the Genesis figure. There is a working preset (SKU:16039 Artist: GhostofMacbeth) and some good stuff here (https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/?ViewProduct=101900). G2M has dwarf morphs, too. But I feel, they are more gnomes. If you don't mind pinups, have a look in my gallery: my avatar and some renders show examples of each Daz generation (and there are no dwarven pinups...). Xameva created fantasy morphs for G3F, just in case you want to upgrade - haven' tried that yet. Good luck and happy rendering.

Thank you so much for the advice, I really appreciate it! I am using version 3 but it does not support Genesis. I noticed that Genesis does have some options, and Poser has some great beards (which I tried purchasing, but sadly they just don't work in Daz). I just started making 3D renders, a lot of this is still Greek to me. right now I am afraid I won't be able to upgrade but who knows in the future. I will check out the links you said and will keep working on it. :) I have tried modifying them a little, but then I have had issues with clothing and poses, and I'm still not that good at tweaking things. But like I said,I will just keep trying. :) thanks again!

Wow, if this is an example of a compromise based on your limited capabilities, I can't wait to see what you do when you get good at this stuff. This looks like amazing work on your behalf. The girl is beautiful, the castle setting great, and I love the shadow effect you put on the back wall. :=)
