What a beautiful photo and house, Christian. I love that green windows, and I wonder how it will look after a month, because I guess it is a Wisteria growing around the door. So you have to go back, Christian, (please) to make a photo with the green, and the Wisteria against it.

Oh, a beautiful capture of this beautiful rustic house. It's "face-forward" (I don't know a Deutsch equivalent, except that your capture puts the facade right 'in our faces', even though the house is recessed back from the camera): It greets us directly, boldly. And I love the detail in your shot---in the shutters, in the white trim on the door, in the moulding, and in those running vines. And the lawn is so empty! So barren. (Well, it's not summer yet!) I love the soil on the walkway too---it gives so much character to the shot. Beautiful capture of an old house---it's old, and a little decayed, but it's got character and dignity. And you captured both beautifully in this shot. I'm at over an hour now, so I must move on; but it's always a pleasure to sit with your work. I'm just sorry that my absence takes me away from it for weeks at a time. Beautiful work, as always.
