With amazing speed and precision, the new partner takes control of the spaceship and does an incredibly fast flip almost instantly reversing their direction! Just as fast as the maneuver, he blasts forward with all their artillery. Seconds later, the two pirate ships are nothing but space dust! 'Whew! That was incredible! Where did you learn to do that?' asks the Privateer. 'After we sealed the deal on our partnership, I took the liberty of reviewing your last encounter with these ex-pirates. I've had experience with their kind before and there is only one way to deal with them, with superior armament and maneuverability. I chipped in some extra credits to the maintenance crew working on your ship and had them install a couple of the latest scatter laser ray guns. Then I had them beef up the superstructure of the ship and supercharge the impulse engines. I think they just proved their worth!' 'You can say that again, partner!
