This is truly a work of cleaning a keyboard, I know ... that's why we do not do it often, lol! Here, it is spring, with sometimes storm and rain...

A great return scene, but I guess for some, 17C would be a hot day (or night) !

I like how the postwork has framed the image and the two-tone windows also looks cool.

A wonderful capture with the two lights, very cleverly done. Your night time temp is our daytime one, we are having light frosts here now so winter is close. Having mostly sunny warm days though so can't complain. I hope your new computer goes well with its very clean keyboard. ☺

First, dear Brigitte, I love your description with regard to the view; or actually two, portrayed so brilliantly, in a glorious mood. And I see you standing, tired but satisfied, looking out the window musing on those long hot summer, all the work you did there on that (numerous great) places in your immense and exotic garden. The night, so calm, not that hot, but still slightly sultry, where nature awaits the next morning, when everything will awaken again.

And then I want to congratulate you on your new computer, which should be a joy to work with, after so long 'muddle through' with an oldie. I had a great giggle about anything you discovered during your two-hour, cleanup. My, you're pretty clever to demolish such a thing first, and then put everything back in the right place. Also a big compliment for your patience. I think it also gave satisfaction, right? Though, you ran the risk to be infected by all garbage, where you can't get a good cup of coffee.. Ha, ha!

Dear one, thank you so much for sharing your very moody and lovely "blondeblurr's picks", as for your words, and for everything that came to me between the lines; and that was very pleasant, funny, and surprising. I'm glad to see you here again, dear Gittie. btw Yesterday I went to this picture, but the time was too short to formulate all my thoughts into a little well English. And now, an hour is gone meanwhile on this early sunny morning, but that's okay, I enjoyed intense, and I was very happy to 'speak' you here again. Just to clarify or explain something Jacominchen and hope that I didn't misunderstood what you said - it's actually only one window, 60x60cm - relatively small (not two), the two trees outside are tropical Evergreen's called: 'Quandong's, an Australian native, Santalum acuminatum, the desert quandong tree.

I love the deep blues here...and they're not night blues, they're a kind of luminous dark blue, with scatterings of light blues in those grainy areas on the bottom and on the right. Wherever those grains come from, they're the kind of unexpected "intrusions" we come to expect from your work---they feel totally new to the piece, and they work perfectly. And the tall and squat vase (one's a bottle, maybe?) make mysterious "presences" against that apocalyptically lit sky. With a window bar (mullion) or some other pole (or tree) in dead center. A well composed shot. And the change in outdoor hues on the right side is a wonderful choice too, also unexpected yet it works. And the seen-through-a-silk-screen appearance of those leaves and branches is terrific. It's a dream, with your usual choices that make a picture like this all your own, and everything in it works just right. Love this! And btw, I once cleaned out a computer keyboard, and I found several relatives I hadn't seen in months, a few Model T Fords, and a copy of the Magna Carta, plus two medieval monks who were copying the Book of Revelation. A lotta stuff gathers there...I hope your computer is up and working for good now. I wish you all the best with it. Great to see you post again, Brigitte!!!

(And btw, in someone's gallery, you mentioned something about playing Beethoven's 7th Symphony on the piano---something like that. I want you to know I've played all the symphonies on the piano, and the 7th was one of the most joyous piano experiences I've ever had. My wrist fell of in a few passages---they weren't meant for the keyboard!---but it's a total joy. Maybe I'll record a little of it one of these days. I smiled from ear to ear when you wrote that...)

Yes:) each season is quite magical, as you said, Brigitte:) And it is what i see here, through your windows. It is a magic view! And to me it is like a development of a dawn. I love the blues inside/outside...and the light !! There is a deep connection in the whole image, though the contrasts that makes it very mysterious and a challenge to the eyes and mind. :))and congratulations in the cleaning....i know what you mean:) !

We are finally enjoying some heat waves, although our winter wasn't all that bad, however Springtime has been blah.
