Hello! My name is Teri and I've been around for over 69 years in various forms. I am happily married (51 years!), have two daughters and four grandchildren.
I discovered Poser 2 many years ago but didn't do much with it. In 2006 I found a copy of Poser 4 and got interested again. I was working in Poser 10 before I switched to Daz Studio in late 2017. I'm gradually getting the hang of most of it.
When not playing on the computer, I help my husband with his start-up Bio Tech business, refinish furniture, knit, crochet, and read. We grab our grandchildren every chance we get and delight in their antics.
Discovering this community has been a great source of fun and support in trying times.I am amazed at the level of talent I see in both the gallery and the products that are offered. It baffles me how little points on a screen can turn into people or trees and move. I'll always be blond I guess!
Thanks for looking.

Very nice portrait and character...

beautiful render and she better be careful. the trees have a strange appendage connection
I would suggest using the largest line that it can use. I have a semi-pro weed wacker and it uses heavy line. it outlasts all the other smaller sizes. I can usually do the front and back yard two times with one load of the spool.

Nice integration into the background.

Superb model for a photo, excellent render !

Beautiful character - love the red hair. A great melding of 3d with 2d. Cover your shins, wear safety glasses and keep the !@#$ blades/string away from your ankles. PS - Goats will be eating more than just the grass - you might want to go with a pair of alpacas.

Dunno how you did this one but the details are just breathtaking -- the tree bark, the ivy, the skirt...
Great render. Love the background, too -- mosquitoes apart.
Hope the weed-eater worked properly, by the way! ;)

Oh, definitely buy goats! We had goats years ago (in my 20s) for about a year, and they do weeding like nobody's business. But of course they're living creatures and can't be put in the garage, and they don't run on batteries...You've created a big contrast between the model and the trees: She's in brightly lit gold, and those trees are dark gothic things, and the contrast is terrific, like she's breaking 'through' the trees (or holding them apart---a little like the biblical Samson). A sweet blue-tinged bayou in the background, and the massive trees actually look like one---they're joined! A really nice twist. I can understand the problem with mosquitos, but also, standing on that rocky ground in heels can't be too easy either. (Those leaves can be slippery.) And I'm not sure what you've done with her hair, but I love the white covering---flowers maybe? a hat? shells?---it's great against that saturated orange. A really inventive piece. And you got fine quality on the water, leaves and rocks too...
