Description

Hi dear friends, As you know, we live near a stream, which is very long. This crosses our province to go over the border to Germany. At the time they moved this stream. One see changing the landscape around it. Actually, we can't walk along what was formerly the case. But Karel and I took the risk, and proceeded on the ploughed banks of the stream. Huge slippery and full of little water sources, moss, stones, etc. Here is an impression, by looking back to where we had already walked. Thank you very much for your effort.

Happily you and Karel made it back home without incident.

Sound like you two took a great risk ---thanks for sharing.

I think it's lovely; it reminds me of pictures of Iceland, out where no one lives...

Oh Mies! Thanks for sharing your adventures walking in the mud. I used to love playing in the mud when I was a little girl. Now I might need to get in touch with my inner child again in order to enjoy the adventure fully. :) At least you got an amazing photo from your muddy adventure. I am glad you guys made it home safe and sound.

Yes, with Katherine, I'm glad you made it back safe and sound too---it does look treacherous! But what a beautiful photo: Such fine detail on the patches of grass and moss (moss?); and the colors are so clear too. And the wet banks in the middle right have caught a lot of light. And then those beautiful partially bare trees in the background are a beautiful backdrop. It's a beautiful shot, almost barren---because of the lack of large life forms---but it's still very rich. And it has real gentleness...And those yellows---in the lower half of the photograph---are wonderful.
