Description

Here’s Liz depicted as a soldier. I’m particularly happy with the way this image turned out. Hopefully other people will agree and it’s not just because I dropped myself on my head when I was little, again when I was a teenager, and not to mention all the other concussions I’ve given myself… I digress, I probably had too much coffee and cacao this morning… It’s got me feeling like I just wanna party! I'm planning on offering the flames I made for this image as a prop on my website here soon. Give me like, say, 24 hrs to package them up and upload them.... For a list of all the products used in my images, including any HDR maps, look in the gallery of my blog: LayLo3D.com. My Daz Store My Renderosity Store

Thanks!!! I wanted to give the impression she's surrounded by burning buildings. So, I put an emissive shader on all the flames emitting at 2700k and put a spot light in front of her to the left side of the image also emitting at 2700k. Then for a fill light I used that free sunset HDR image I link to on my website with it's environment intensity turned down to .5 I think. For the background that wasn't filled in by the environment, I just layered dark grey, almost black, behind the rendered portion of the image. I typically don't have much luck with letting "Draw Dome" fill in that part of the background...
