A letter to..My Dad My Angel Your battle is now over, no more pain, no more suffering, now you are no longer weak. I am proud to say you are my dad, the greatest man I ever knew. I couldn't lift my head off the pillow this morning for the pain My blue heeler jumped on the bed , to my amazement never before has this happened.. burred her head in my neck and patted my shoulder so gently.. and I now through her you were comforting me. Now you are my Angel, so spread your wings out wide, please wrap them around me whenever you see me cry. Our time together was memorable and I have lots of things to smile about. Dad, you taught me to be strong but sorry I’m letting you down… I can never be strong enough to accept that you are no longer here. It didn’t matter whether we spoke every day or not, what mattered was that you loved me a lot Dad… even though you are not in front of my eyes right now, your picture in my heart will remain beautifully pristine forever.
