This is very nice -- the poses work to convey a nice sense of emotion and tenderness. I'm not entirely sold on the side-view, though. I'm wondering if a shift to our right might emphasize the man in front more, and thus enhance the impression of intimacy. I'm also wondering if changing the white sock to black (or removing it) would help strengthen the focus on their faces. It's a tiny distraction, but that little pop of white at the bottom of the illustration is competing with the faces for attention. But, of course, I'm just nitpicking. I really like what i see here -- great job!

Wonderful render. In contradiction to mmitchels comment I think the white sock is very appropriate. Being a fan of trichotomy and not dualism this white sock continues the straight line of the two lights and gives the dark ground a lot of character.
