Description

My first scene with any weapons included. This is Olympia 6. Took me a while to get her hands posed and now, looking at photos of archers, I see I have her left hand wrong, lol. The background is from FrozenStar's Best of Forests pack. 3Delight Render

That's right Rock69, lol. I've just never got into fight scenes etc. My husband and I always joke that he does the swashbuckling scenes and I do the romantic ones. In this case, I think she's doing target practice, lol.

Excellent 3Delight render.

The hand (and the arrow is on the wrong side of the bow stave for this style of archery) is not entirely your fault. Most poses that the artists who make the archery props include (or sell) are flat wrong. And it's not a modern problem...go back and look at certain medieval tapestries and you'll see quite inaccurate weapons rendering.

But, putting aside the bow prop and associated hand and arrow poses, you did an awesome job. The other render-specifics you nailed quite well. Fixing poses and positions...that's just a matter of taking the time to do so (assuming the prop lets you). You already got the hard part: lighting, textures, composition, etc.
