With love for this beautiful dedication. The image touches me. It is very atmospherically and transported the statement directly into my heart. It is true we have sometimes to say goodbye. It is a privilege when the fate allow it. I was lucky and was able to say goodbye one night long of my beloved wife in the hospital . I could accompany she so long until they had alone to continue the rest of their travel. For me the doors closed.

I can't think of anything sadder than a farewell and so I prefer to say (with the words of the Beatles): Hello, hello, I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello ....
Great scene!!

My Deutsch isn't good enough, anymore, for me to understand the deeper thoughts and feelings of your description, although I read art-ella's words in English, and it sounds like he had some serious departures. (I put the Deutsch into online-translators, but it was hard to understand the translations. I don't remember most of my Deutsch grammar, unfortunately.) Your visual has a poignant feeling of departure, surrounded by a very lit-up street. It throws intense light on the couple, who may be seeing each other for the last time. But it also makes their departure more poignant: Because the street is lit, but they are parting from each other, which always carries sadness with it. You chose a narrow street from a Chinese area of many cities---perhaps it's in Hong Kong. And the lights are intense and crowded, as are the many shadows. The man is in shadow, as if he or the woman will be fading away soon. And, as always, your detail in clothing is wonderful, from head to toe, including the woman's jewelry and earrings, and the man's belt and sword cords. You always give very fine attention to clothing and accessories. A poignant and beautifully made image for your friend.
