Description
Someone from Leicester here? Congratulation. Europeans know what I mean. ;-)
Well, another aircraft seldom seen on renderings. The Avro Anson was one of the first monoplanes of the RAF. It was developed for maritime reconnaissance, but found to be obsolete in this role. So it became a multirole aircraft and was in use in many roles. It was build with some different engines and so you can see different cowlings on the Anson. The Anson was also used to train the other members of a bomber's aircrew, such as navigators, wireless operators, bomb aimers and air gunners. Here it is used to train navigators.

I suspect that you made the aircraft yourself. But I'm quite struck by the landscape and especially like the shadows thrown by the clouds on the right. Very realistic.

Not a particular beautiful airplane, but often the real workhorses where not beautiful at first hand and they often lack the apeal of fighter planes. Very cool render and an excellent tribute to this less known Airplane!!
