Brilliant, reminds me of Minos (Crete). In the evolution of an intelligent species, IQ can interfere with reproduction. So as the IQ goes up the reproductive cues and drives go up. Thus the exaggerated secondary sexual characteristics on human females. About 3k years ago, women decided that men were an inferior sex because they suffered a chemically induced frontal lobotomy when looking at breasts. This led to the widespread abuse of men, then to revolution and the overthrow of 'progressive' societies like the Etruscans and Minoans where women had a lot of power and the replacement of them with societies where women were totally subjugated. Roman law required that a woman never be a person. Aristotle maintained that arranging officers to control women was the most important issue the designer of a state must contend with. Confucius maintained the three obedience's for women, obedience to their father in youth, to their husband in maturity, and to their eldest son in old age. It has only been 30 years since women's liberation, but half the women in the US are going to kill their husbands. Men lose 5 to 10 years from their life expectancy when divorced, and divorce is always the woman's fault as in matrilineal societies where women control marriage it is a strictly temporary arrangement. By the second half of this century, artificial wombs will be common, and doctors will be required to advise men not to have relations with women. Circe who turned men into swine, is emblematic of those 'progressive' societies from 3k years ago, and her role as a villainess in the Odyssey is a part of the reaction then. This time, men will simply stop having anything to do with women.

You are very clever Yves, even if it means MAGIC - you are the master of it... simply irresistible.
(according to Wikipedia) In Greek mythology, Circe is a goddess of magic (or sometimes a nymph, witch, enchantress or sorceress). By most accounts, Circe was the daughter of Helios, the god of the sun, and Perse, an Oceanid.
