Thank-you for all those who viewed and commented on my first photograph. The second shot in the series is a close-up of Toxicoscordion fremontii (aka Fremont's Death Camas Lily). The Latin and common name tell you pretty much what you need to know... this Death Camas Lily is poisonous to humans and most mammals, but from this photo it's also clear that the horde of baby lady bugs on it have no fear.
