Description

There's a wildlife refuge not far from me and at certain times of the year, there are hundreds of swans that spend the night there. At first light of day, they take off all at once and it's an amazing sight. I caught this guy at just the right moment!!

Well, don't I feel stupid!! Of course this isn't a swan; as I looked at the foto I was questioning myself already but still went with swan. Duh......it IS an egret!!!

Beautiful shot...I understand why in your excitement from capturing the perfect shot you called it a swan...it IS white after all...lol
