Yes, your husband is right, Wolf (Robert) is a very fine writer. (I only read his prose occasionally too, for lack of time; but it's marvelous.) But he's also a fine artist, and you captured the spirit of his mystical pieces beautifully. You used black and white; you used his way with powerful light in the night; you have silhouette figures like he does, one on each side (the violinists); and the general mystical feeling of his night images. The two faces actually remind me of an Ingmar Bergman film (heavy, heavy films, lol) and they make a striking design for the center of your image...with a wolf emerging out of the darkness (for wolf-enshire?), and swans in front. In India, the swan is a symbol of perfect wisdom: The ancient myth says that the swan is the only animal who can drink the milk out of a mixture of milk and water. Swans are called "hamsas" in Sanskrit; and sages are called "parama-hamsas"---or, "great swans". So they're very fitting here. You made this black and white image into a plate of silver. And the contrasts are beautfiul. Beautifully done, and a deserved image for one of our best writers.
