Description
The church
In the twelfth and thirteenth centuries is built the current church, facing east and integrated into the fortified village, with a beffroi.
In 1562, during the religious wars, Blaise Montluc, chief of the royal army and catholics, took the city and 700 Protestants are massacred, including women who had defended the city.
In 1568 the protestant Philippe de Rabastens takes the city, remained catholic. The church was partially destroyed.
Once religious peace returned, the church was restored in the gothic occitan style. A door is open to the west and the church is "returned" (facing west). (infos wikipedia)

L'église Au XIIe et XIIIe siècles est construite l'église actuelle, orientée à l'est et intégrée à l'enceinte fortifiée du village, elle comporte un beffroi. En 1562, lors des guerres de religion, Blaise de Montluc, chef de l’armée royale et des catholiques, prend la ville et 700 protestants y sont massacrés, y compris les femmes qui avaient défendu la ville.
