I believe this is my favorite plant in your garden. The color is glorious! I love how it fades from those gorgeous dark edges into the pale lemon center. Thank you! :)

It is a wonder Andrea! I see the stamens at side and they seem delicate fingers! The color is so joyful and she seems it is in a pose to begin dancing:)) wonderful gift for Tara and that i already saw that she enjoyed a lot:) Happy Birthday Tara and many many more with much health and much joy each day:) wish you a wonderful year!

I can't believe I didn't comment on this---I thought I'd commented on tara's dedis, but I see, this week, that I didn't comment on one. Well, happy birthday tara, even though you're not reading this! In full zoom, it's a big dessert. In screen size (about 2/3 size, to fit my 27 inch monitor) it's a sensual almost leathery thing. It has such amazing texture on all its petals. And because of your darkened background, it seems to be floating in space. You got the hues, and I love the contrasts between that deep yellow and those beautiful tomato-pink reds. A lush primal capture for Tara's birthday.
