Happy Birthday, dear Tara and many many more of those :) I hope your day will be full of love and happiness. This shot is taken 5 days ago in our garden. The tree has a history. Once, when my mom lived, I made her a big box, filled it with good soil and my mom could grow parsley and other things there, without bending too much. One day popped up a tiny chestnut tree and she admitted, she had planted a chestnut in the bed LOL! She gave it to me, when it grew bigger and I planted it in our garden. So you see, it is a beloved tree :-) Thank you for viewing. Wish you all a good day. :) Maybe I will be back soon, within a few weeks. Then we will se how long I can stay. :) Summertime is a busy time for us here.

What a wonderful photo and even better the story with it. It reminds me of my own mother, who did something simiilar with an oak tree, but I am not so lucky as to have it in my yard. That big tree lives in the USA while I am in the Netherlands.

It is a very moving story Helle and so much this tree has to tell already... i imagine how you cherish her:)! So beautiful, with this incredible blue sky behind. A fine dedication for your friend Tara in this pic of the gorgeous greenery against the deep blue sky, Helle. The big hanging leaves remind me of sleeping bats. I'm hoping that when you do return, that it will be forever.
