Description
"After the Stricken Seer of Loch Dubh was dragged off by the imperial Catchers, for trial, torture and execution down south, peace of a sort clung to the Glyns, but it was a quiet, damp peace, until, with three days of unseasonal sunshine, the coming of the White Deaconess turned hearts to the Creator, and hope sprung again through the whin and fern, the children laughing and playing again, and cowardly, imperial agents slunk back to their stone forts to report that the Glynfolk needed taught a harder lesson, or else all the Thousand Long Isles would rise again in rebellion".
MacPhrie's History of the Dark Times, Mannanaan Press, Kelptoun.
Rendered from a Seilholm terrain generated in World Creator. A long week, with real sunshine, family matters, a blessed funeral, an imminent birth, a sea journey and two christenings in the offing, my thoughts crowded with friends and family, prayers and memories flooding in, and that feeling that time is speeding up. May His Peace and His Touch keep you all safe, wherever you are, whatever your fears, whatever the pressures. He is always present. Just reach out yo and let Him touch you. God bless you all, you and your loved ones ... ;o).
