Originally titled "Deep Space Wenda." Avery-05 was like Mars: a rust-red surface, mountain ranges that almost touch the edge of the thin fiery-red and yellow atmosphere. A world that at one time or another had water running across its surface, but to lose it as hydrogen atoms broke down and leeched into space. Wendacora and Tempestt answered a distress call from a survey ship that was severely damaged in a dust storm, but were themselves in danger as a rare electrical storm damaged critical machinery in their craft. Their only hope was to cannibalize the survey ship for working components. Wendacora waited impatiently as Tempestt and a Dweed traveled to the survey ship as another dust storm gathers. Seeing the other Dweeds left at the abandoned base succumb to sand damage left her lesser at ease... ***** Just something I thought about after playing with the Retro Space Suit and Starship Sky Hammer. Posting this now because DAZ Studio did not close properly last night after rendering. Tried to restart it, but it took longer than normal. After restarting the laptop and loading the scene (but didn't try to render again), DS seemed okay. Not taking chances though. If I'm lucky maybe I'll upload a version with shadows and more detail.
