Haven't seen a long montage from you in several uploads, and this is a powerful one. The top shot is worthy by itself. Fine detail on the droplets, w/ fine perspective, and I love the light and flares in the background against the heavy shadows. The 2d one gives curvilinear undertone to it, with the organic vine-like lines throughout; with a print-like set of blues. The third one is ultra fine in detail, with heavy contrasts and some wonderful deep blues---blues one sees on the great Japanese prints of previous centuries. (Vivid, bright, deep.) A really fine piece of contrast work. Four is like one, only you gave rainbow hues to it, almost a nuclear sunburn look; the colors are subtle and they work with the original quite smoothly: a very subtle variation, for all the strong hues. And the last one ends the series with an etched or pen-and-ink version, bringing out the pure textures and lines of the original. I want to say again that the original is a terrific shot, and would stand on its own for sure; but you varied it with panache and lots of thought and finesse. A really fine montage, Harry.
Harry, I'm nearly at 2 hours (5 minutes short), and I have to go now. I thought I'd make it up to your most recent shot, but, I'm a little under a week short. I'll get there. Still, I did around 20 shots---and really, 20 of my comments in one sitting might be all you can take, lol! I don't want to "Mark" you to death. I'll be back to catch up, but as always, it's a real pleasure Sir H!
