Born at a very early age in England and grew up very close to London airport.
My influences have been many and varied, but right now I am a big fan of the pin-ups of Gil Elvgren from the mid 40's and 50's. I couldn't talk about illustration without mentioning Mort Drucker, who was a huge childhood influence on me. Generally the second world war and the 15 years following it generated some astounding artists.

I hope you and yours are well my friend. The news here is sparse but hopefully it will be another ash hiccup and a peaceful time thereafter. Sorry I missed this. I was thinking I should check your gallery for news and voila. It's a spectacular likeness and even the sword seems correct. I like your wife!
