perhaps two creatures from a futuristic world, perhaps after an apocalypse, or perhaps just two creatures from the present, in a deep empty land, at a very late time of day...with deep red hues everywhere. The mood is very late day, it's a lonely picture, but the warmth of the woman and the lion makes it very warm. And the lion is very happy to be with her, and be petted by her. Poignant moment. I like the edge work here, it gives the piece a graphic quality. And the overall feeling is of an apocalyptic landscape, on which two creatures walk, caring for each other while the world around them goes on, on its barren way. Very well done.
