Your title is very suggestive. I only know of one thing that “pops up” in the morning. It is something very near and dear to my heart. It’s probably best that you posted this psychedelic offering instead.

On my last visit to Sumatra I met an African-American man. He was six foot three and weighed about 130 pounds. He told me that the Indonesians he met were fascinated by him and asked him the three standard questions they ask every visitor; what is your name, where are you from, what is your job? He answered the questions over and over. On one occasion they were literally lined up to ask him the same questions so he decided to have some fun with it.

“What is your name?” “Albert Einstein.” “Where are you from?” “Germany.” “What is your job?” “Writing the theory of relativity.”

I just LOVE these, all three of them, they are luscious and richly flavoured!

You probably know I sometimes have synaesthesia, and these definitely have tastes! The top one is my favourite, a sort of salad, the middle one is beautiful but far too peppery and hot to eat, and the bottom one is a minty iced dessert.

First of all, lol, your title has subliminal sexual connotations. And, if that's chopped liver, I would be most reticent to take a bite. It might scald my esophagus. Other than that, I pretty well echo all the above in their assessment of this brilliant collage. Excellently done, King Phillippe. You never disappoint.

As I recall, in Catch22, Yossarian was censoring letters while he was in the hospital not getting better but not getting any worse, either, and he signed his name "Washington Irving." When he got tired of that, he signed it "Irving Washington." When he became bored switching those two around, he signed "I yearn for you tragically. A. T. Tappman, Chaplain, U.S. Army." Personally, I've always been fond of "Pooky," who was Garfield the Cat's teddy bear.

Oh ... the art! Yes. I like the last one, because as Kat says, the first one looked like a colorful garden seen through a rain-drenched window. The last one is that same rain-drenched window, but with bright sunlight blazing off every bit of water, turning the whole world brilliant white. It's beautiful, especially to someone from a rainy climate! (Ahem ... that would be me, of course.)

On the first I feel I am looking through a thin curtain into a bar with fancy light and mutes music :) The second i am looking inth a wood with the last glows of fire left. Rather sad, but wonderful colors. The last one is a relief. I cools off the wood fire anf makes all light and green again. I am crazy, I know, but what the heck. :)) Love your triptych :)
