Description

In Irish Mythology, The Morrigan's name means great queen or phantom queen. She has many aspects, but the most well known aspect she is associated with is fate, especially on the battlefield, appearing in the form of a crow she was a harbinger of doom and death. The Morrigan also rules over rivers and lakes. It is said she is one of the Tuatha de Danann (the tribe of the Goddess Danu). In order to protect her people from invaders, the Morrigan would blow a fog over the land, hiding her people from invaders.
