Description
The heretic pharaoh and his queen.
An image created in Daz 3d. Both the figures are modifications of the basic Genesis 3 female figure (which better lends itself to Akhenaten's weird, androgynous physiognomy). The eye-makeup I created using layered image editor, the components are mostly free downloads, credits as follows:
The dress is from Wilmap's digital creations (a Greek style dress for Genesis 1, that can pass as Egyptian and that fortunately fits G3f relatively well).

The Nefertiti crown is by Martinique PL, from Renderosity: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/?uid=36650
The white crown is by 3d fineries: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/?uid=478046
The queen's jewellery is mostly this by Whimsy Smiles: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/dynamic-jewelry---bigbeads/68376
The snake armbands are from Draconian:

The temple backdrop incorporates two models by gadu: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/egyptian-temple-3/75891
and https://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/egyptian-temple-2/75249
Plus a gateway I modelled myself in Sketchup. Going forward, if I continue to experiment in 3d, I will use more of my own original components, but if there's already free or for-sale stuff out there that fits the bill then there's no point re-inventing the wheel. I'm still getting used to lighting, and getting to grips with applying textures, but I'm getting there.
