Helle's absolutely right (and it's great to see her here again!): You got just the right angle, and the effect is tactile, fluid, topographical, and very touchable. It looks like clay as much as brick, or just hardened mud (it's not that, I know, as that would make a lousy wall---though in LA of late, it would probably never get wet enough to disintegrate). And the mortar lines are wonderfully "off"---a pretty loose piece of construction! I like that! A fine closeup, Harry, with first rate light and shade. And a very pleasing view of something that, in person, I might glance at and walk away from: Here, it pulls me right in. Fine work.

(I've skipped some images only because of time. I'll do more soon. But I'll do one more now, before I go to sleep...)
