Description
A tropical American tree that has blue trumpet-shaped flowers, fernlike leaves, and fragrant timber.
It sure looks like it.
Captured 5/12/16 @ 11:19 am, at the beautiful La Mirada Regional Park in beautiful La Mirada, California.

Wow, Harry, I think we were walking in the same place!! I saw these trees all over Huntington Beach and Long Beach when I was down there and didn't know what they were. Someone finally said, "Jacaranda" and voila---mystery solved. They're just gorgeous!!

yeah, it is a beautiful array, as the above comments indicate. And lots of detail in the shot too. I don't know where you were standing, but you seem to have a high pov, as if you were on a mound or looking from the 2d story of a bldg. But you have the leaves flush in the center of the shot. Fine full throated shot of this fragrant tree.
