OH! How I love these colors. From one of my pots with new summer flowers. Hope you like them too. :)
I love Petunias, because my mom always had them on the balcony in Copenhagen (my childhood apartment) and in their summerhouse they wanted them too. Only, my dad wanted to grow them from seed, but had no succes, but I had succes, so I grew them from seed for him. I can still see him planting every tiny plants out with a forcept with deep gentleness and care. Oh sweet memories :)

Wonderful blends of magenta and lighting effects in this cool macro of your beautiful petunias, Helle. Petunias are growing all over my neighborhood but I didn't capture them because I couldn't remember their name. Now that I know, I can go out and photograph them. And interesting that your father planted the seeds with forceps.

Not the seeds, Harry. I sowed the seeds, my father planted out the tiny plants with a forcept.

Lol, Harry. If I refrained from photographing things I didn't know the name of, I'd never shoot anything! (What'm I gonna say, "I think it's a tree"? With all the gorgeous flowers in his gallery, he doesn't have to worry if he forgets a name now and then, I can tell you that...) Another big, beautiful flower capture from you, and sensual, with such amazing purples. With the light and shade, they cover so many varieties of purple. And those dark ones behind are stunning. But the leaves are captured beautifully too, with their fuzz and curves and the sun falling on them like butter. A beautiful shot, and I hope everyone zoomed, because it's splendid full size.
