Probably 'libellula depressa"... In english: broad-bodied chaser, thank you very much, Paul (aka windigo) for the translation :-) He is probably a young male speciment too. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200

Excellent image JC, reminds me of when I was young and a pair of dragon fly's checked me out, like I was a possible meal, or a possible host for it's young, lol! Thankfully they moved on and I was able to take a dip in our mutual favorite pond... ;)
