Oh, I love this very much, Yves - my favourite subject, anything that has to do with the 'Art Nouveau' or 'Art Deco' era ... definitely a reminder of my Aubrey Beardsley prints and I do have a few of them, thanks for sharing such beauty with us here.

Oh, another brilliant concept from you. An angel grows out of a woman's head, and hair. And the woman (on the bottom) looks like a devil---sly, scheming, daring. I love that she has a tail, and big amphibious spikes coming out of her back. (And two of them are dripping, lol: Wonderful sinister painting!) And she turns to us, with long winding eyelashes (like a villain's mustache); and she stares at us, as if to "dare" us to bother her. "Go ahead," she seems to say: "Come closer...I dare you..."

But then---whoosh: Her hair flies upwards, vines grow out of it, and---voila---an angel emerges. And the angel is in a diving pose, only she's diving 'upwards'. Her devil's back is flying off, and she soars like a ballerina, with leaves flying off of her. Beautiful lines, and wonderful work with her hair. A beautiful composition and concept; and you painted it masterfully. More wonderful work from you, Yves.
