I failed to take my fisheye lense and my wide angle lense was not enough to capture this beautiful memorial in memory of the soldiers from Illinois that fought here against the Confederate army

I was laying in the floor for this. yesterday canoes were normally maintained but the area was 4 feet above normal

fine detail in zoom, and looming light too. I didn't know that northern soldiers fought in Texas. I didn't know they went that far west. And impressive there's a monument for them in the south, considering they were fighting against the south. I like the detail on this. Fine, in these muted tones.
