Description

I usually do not take candid photos of people in public but sometimes the subject matter is just too good to pass up. This was one of those occasions. During one of my lunch hour walks at work, I came across a crossing guard taking his lunch break in the Hydrostone neighborhood of Halifax, June 2015. Camera: Sony DSC-HX300

He looks like quite a character, but he also might seem a bit scary to kids and looks more like he should be in a Biker Gang !

Nice change of pace & ~Cheers~

Like mechanics that always work on heavy objects on the floor and dancers who see the ground as mother this sets a new safety standard. I used to sit on the ground with my hat tipped forward in front of the parking bumpers at the local convenience store. Just to ignore those who wish to threateningly dominate the tykes.
