Description
Captured 5/26/16 @ 8:48 am, about half a mile from home.
Although from the same front yard, this one is in far better shape than the disheveled bloom that I posted on 5/29/16. A fence here prevented me from getting a more frontal view.

It is, once again, incomprehensible that you didn't get 6 times the comments, or more. A terrific shot, with amazing detail and light on that exquisite big flower. And the fact that you couldn't get a more frontal view (because of a fence) didn't stop you from making the best of this angle: The framing of the background is wonderful, the dreamy nature of the tree leaves (or needles) is wonderful, the light and shadow in the ground and planter and birdhouse is wonderful, and the sky sets off the flower perfectly. A real eye popper; a beautiful capture, Harry. (And am I wrong, or is this person's lawn a bit "busy"? Man, there's a lotta stuff lyin' around!)
