Description

I am thinking the small ship is a ferry that takes people across the Mississippi there was lots of flooding in Dallas,Texas last night. a hour 1/2 trip took me 3 1/2 hours. I had plans to cut through side streets to avoid the interstate which was closed because of flooding. well it did not work because of flooding. I had to go back west and continue another route

What a fantastic view on this river, and great capture! Here in France, it rain a lot since several days, and there are floodings at certain places too...

Wonderful view. Looks good. We currently throughout Germany very big problems with heavy rain. Many floods and unfortunately some deaths.

The moment I saw the photo I though - one inch of rain and it's flooded. I saw the news on the Internet - isn't YouTube great (as long as one knows what to look for and what to avoid)? Hope you got home safely and that your home is not a submarine at this point in time. Somehow it feels like someone is very upset with the USA for the time being, I sincerely hope it comes to an end - so may people loosing out. Keep up the good work! :-)

I was down there Saturday. A brief downpour and there was 1.5 feet of water on the interstate. Parts of the city are below sea level. Safe travels!
