This plant is called Indian Paintbrush because of the variety of colours it blossoms.

Beautiful shot - love the level of detail on the "hairy" stems. But these look very different from the Indian Paintbrush that used to grow all over my former property in the Applegate Valley - they were a deep red & had very leafy stems...
