Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

A real Helle piece, one of your montages with real and created images, and a kaleidoscopic effect. I love the petunias as a gigantic wreath, and the beautiful leaves inside the wreath (and above it), and those gray-ish 'walls' on either side. (Maybe they're some kind of magic quarry that the wreath sits in front of.) And the "sky" made of more kaleidoscopic forms. (Ok, a boring reference: "Kaleidoscope" is from the Greek for "beautiful forms": So it wasn't named for it's mirror images: It was named for its beauty. I always thought it was named after some crazy scientist called "Kaleido", who liked to make scopes...)
But in the center of it all? A little fairy. Little compact smiling creature, all in green---Lucinda's birthday is in June, after all---and smiling away, with green lipstick! I love her there. (Zoom really brings her out.) I've seen all the Lucinda dedis, and they all have magic in them. I hadn't seen most of them when I wrote my tale for Lucinda, so imagine how excited I was when I saw that everyone else created 'magic' for Lucinda. It says something about Lucinda, doesn't it? Happy Birthday, Lucinda! And many, many more! These dedis are a symbol of what people love in you! I hope you had a terrific day, and that it lasts for a long time! Beautiful art, Helle, as always. And I'll catch up on your other images soon...

I'm very late telling you this, but this brought a big smile to my face on my birthday! When I was a child in Louisiana, we had a carnation bush in our yard. It was the home of many fairies. We knew that, just as we knew the swing set was an orphanage and the picnic table was a tree house (except when it was a raft). Like us, the fairies weren't very fond of the hot Louisiana summers and tended to stay hidden inside a good deal of the time. But they came out with the rain, and while we stared out from our window, they stared out from the branches, at a world transformed. If we looked very closely, we could see the sparkle of their wings when the sun reappeared. This little fairy might be a distant cousin to the ones among our carnations. She looks very comfortable on her leafy perch encircled by her lovely petunias. Above her head, a petunia has transformed into a butterfly! Very magical and beautiful! Thank you!
