Description
My little hiatus is pretty much over, and it's time to get the Girls back in action! It's been too long...
...And it's been one hell of a month – actually the last couple of months. I've had a whole host of technical difficulties to deal with lately, plus with all the changes at my job, it's kept me pretty well busy and worn out.
To make a long, sad story really short… First, when I tried to do the latest firmware update on my Inspire 1 drone, something went screwy, and I could no longer connect the controller to the drone. I'm still working with this issue, and hopefully will have it squared away soon. I have been in communication with DJI, and if my next couple of attempts aren't successful, it looks like I'll have to send it into their service center.
Just after that happened, my Seagate NAS drive, decided now would be a really good time to go south – especially since I haven't followed my own advice and backed it up recently. Although there's a lot of stuff on there I'd like to have back, there's nothing on it that I can't live without. The hard drive itself seems to be good – it spins up, and I can see the drive when I plug it into one of my external docks. The big problem is that an NAS drive uses a form of Linux to control the drive, so of course a Windows machine can't read it. I may have a fix for it, however. More later if I'm successful.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this latest page in the Girls' adventures. G4 and Ar will be headed back to Las Vegas soon, and more adventures will be coming their way. Stay tuned – things are going to get pretty intense!
Hopefully you'll all get to see this new page, if you're not having the problems I'm still having with Renderosity's email notifications. If I get them at all, they come in short spurts of two or three emails, or two or three days late. I've brought this problem up in the forum numerous times, but I'm not even going to bother this time. They'll reply and say they passed along to the programmers, and it may or may not get fixed. If it does, it'll stay fixed for two or three weeks – maybe a month, if I'm lucky. So why bother? Last time this happened, one of the Admins mentioned that the notification system seems to work better with Gmail, so I may start using my Gmail address for Renderosity. We'll see…
Beyond the notifications, things are starting to smooth out a little bit, so hopefully I can get the T.N.A. story back on track, post a little bit more, and – once again – get caught up on comments. I have this next week off for vacation, so hopefully I can get some things done as well as relaxing and enjoying a little bit of artwork. I've got some fun things in the pipeline, and now that I'm pretty well done with reorganizing and consolidating all my digital content, I can actually get back to working on them.
So before I write a book here, I hope everyone has a great weekend, and a great upcoming week. As always, thank you so much for dropping by, and for any comments you wish to leave. They mean a lot!

Wow! great page!.... I can only wonder what these two have on there mind.... hope to find out soon.
excellent work, very nicely done, can't wait for the next page, and I know the girls can't either... since they were wondering if anything had happened to you, and set out to find you! so if you see a shuttle star flying over head, you'll know who it is.
just one thing, don't resist when they show up...
Have a good one!
RodS

the first sentence by the President is everyday business by our government. the ladies are beautiful and a great turn of events. in a store there are a basket of eggs and a sign that says "boneless chicken" but only as long as one does not eat the shell

Wow! Freaking off the charts primo work my friend. Much enjoy the wait between all pages in this series, Rod.
Hope you get all those bummer issues with the drone worked out. Would love seeing more photos from it.
Great the gals are meeting with the commander and chief, and glad it's not Trump. All scenes are awesome and always PROfessional! Love their car. Enjoy the rest of the weekend my friend..

Thanks for posting again! I've missed you. Glad you've informed us about what's going on so we don't take you for dead or something just as bad! As stated above, great work on the reflections! I love the "pssttt...psss...pssttt" part. Makes me wonder what they are up to. A paid vacation with RodS, maybe? Would be cool (and even cooler if the drone were working)! All I can say is I'm looking forward to the next installment! Keep up the good work! :-)
My rating - a 7 !

You are unique and one of a kind. I look forward to you posts. I screwed up and lost you web page as the address was on my old new computer that I sent back to the seller. I formatted window to it new state and deleted all my programs and did not think saving web addresses as computer was only with me for a month or so. Then I saw a comment by you and saw I had goofed up. I think I can still find you though if I google you. I enjoy your series and sense of humor. Have fun on you vacation.

That's great Rod! You got the back of his head just right His ears might be a bit small And the vest is right on. The Prez is a real professional if he can maintain his composure with two hot ladies wearing those dresses. I can't wait to see Ar and G4's requests. The imagination runs wild. Awesome work.

Very well done. Must have been a big job doing this. Good luck getting all back to normal for you.

Another wonderful chapter very beautifully created. I love the oval office with all the reflections and of course the President. Very well done and it is great to hear that you are getting everything sorted with your computer. Thank you for sharing your work and I hope you have a happy week. 😀

It's always a treat when you can get back here and post. Whether you can comment or not, your posts are a joy. The very first thing I noticed in this latest installment was that you were in the Oval Office---so no multiple screens, no numerous digital machineries, no wonderfully creative objects, etc etc: Ya can't do that in the Oval Office, lol! Or they may give you a very uncomfortable call, or worse. So for the first time in a while, a Rod chapter is (gasp) sans-Rod backgrounds! I looked, believe me---under the curtains, inside Obama's hair, etc. (Well, he LOOKS like Obama.) I looked...But it wasn't to be found. But your encounter is necessarily spare, and beautifully presented---the two women have this low light on them, and they glow. (Their outfits help that.) And I love that you never let us see POTUS's face: He's a mysterious presence, who seems to want to help these two. Really well done.
Then they make their request, and boom: NO WORDS, lol! We don't hear what they say! I love how you hold that back and make us wonder. Not that we don't have ideas by now, but it's good storywriting. And then the president says he'll help, and they leave; and we end in the car---and that's one shiny car, btw, I like the look and the reflections---on a very federal looking street; and they reflect on what Melanie could've been doing. Well done and well written! Preparing us for the next installment. Also...in the 3 center frames, you position the two ladies under the lamps in the background---fine formal composition: It suits the nature of the Oval Office. (Your usual compositions are varied, with great angles; but here---to suit the formality of the occasion---the composition is strict and centered, with the president at near-center every time.) Again, the light and dark sheen on the women is beautiful. You've laid out a lotta seeds, and you did it with your panache, high smarts and visual beauty.
I'm sorry for all you're dealing with...I know you've been dealing with a lot for a while. Some patches of life can be so endless. I hope it gets better. You seem such a knowledgeable person about digital matters; if you're hitting walls there, then things have to really be bad. After my computer meltdown in Feb, I've backed up in 3 or 4 places: I swear it's a waste of time, because meltdowns rarely happen, and I mean, how many times can one backup? (Redundancy is the right word.) But boy, when things fall apart. I once took a hard drive out of its computer, opened it up---not easy---and SHOUTED at it. (Nothing happened. It didn't do squat.) I hope your problems get better there, and at work. And if you can't comment in your week off, it just means you're giving yourself a rest. The light'll be on, by your fans, that's for sure---and I'm definitely one of 'm. So I hope you can rest and clear your head a little. All the best!

Another adventure wrapped up - almost. I'm wondering what the little favor was? Try to get some rest during this vacation!

LOVE this!! You got the presidential attitude down just right. The formal greetings and thanks, the way he listens and waits ... the whole thing was outstanding! Even the color of his hair. (Isn't it amazing how gray people go when they become president? It's a testament to the stress of the job!) Like Mark said, your spare setting is perfect for such a formal occasion. I mean ... POTUS doesn't get to have Scooby-Doo figurines on his desk and stuff, right? LOL! And that car!!! And the reflections!!! Wow. That was the first thing I noticed was the shine on that car. You do good work, my friend!
Oh ... and happy anniversary! I was so wrapped up in having to appear for jury duty that I didn't post an image for you and Jo. Jo sent me a note celebrating your 45 years, and it was (and always is) great to hear from her. I had you on my calendar, but it was a little crazy around here. Congratulations on your long and happy marriage! And they said it wouldn't last six months ... :P HAH! LOL! You got the cutest girl I Missouri!

Wen's big sister (of a different mister) and Ar are hot as always. Hopefully Mrs. O isn't the jealous type! Another awesome chap, Rod!
