Description

Robert aka wolfenshire, posted a set of images, one of his first and newest to show where he was and where he is. I pointed out that this was almost a challenge to those who follow his work to do the same. without further ado, here is my contribution to the DAZ gallery. the first (upper) image is one of my very first attempts at DAZ after I got caught up in a challenge! The lower image is from a recent upload. I hope you like the comparison. The next set will be some samples of my photography and then APO and lastly MB3D. and yeah, the upper image is small compared to the lower one.

Wow! You have come far. There is something simple about your first piece though that appeals to me.
The last piece is outstanding.

Oh and the things we have seen along the way of life's journey. Funny how in the beginning our art was so much smaller and thought time just got bigger , unlike certain body parts on myself which have done just the opposite. Ah, the heartaches of getting old. Only consolation we have gotten better with age....or at least you have.

The second is much more busier, than the first !

Sometimes less is more, especially when it is the first attempt.

Both are very eye catching.

Excellent DAZ for the first time---Congratulations Mike !

Huge difference here, Mike, thank you for sharing it. You've really come a long way since the first one, even though it has its own merit. Great work! :)

Great examples of "then" and "now," Mike. I suppose should do something similar with how I did Shion in 2007 and what I do with her now.

You definitely came a long way---though there's a real charm to your first Daz. If that's the original size, as you suggest, it feels like a glass or ceramic miniature, and it's got real charm and beauty. The bottom image is something I recognize from you: This is something you posted recently, verbatim? I recognize the style for sure. You've put your Daz eye into all kinds of space warps and time warps here, and it's playful but also complex and beautiful...kind of like Escher, only with more playful contents. (And I love the wings going over/under the side, on each side.) Great idea, and I'm all in favor of reposting. Delightful, Mike.

Well, I want you to know I've just done all of May---without a skipped image!---and now the beg of June. (I'm not caught up with everything before, but at least I did a consecutive set of comments for once.) And, as it gets past an hour and 20 minutes, I'll move on. A pleasure and great ride as always, Mike, and I hope to be back soon. I love your endless imagination.

A fascinating look at your progression Mike! That first one looks like the first version of The Girl.. Quite a fun comparison. Hope to see more of your DAZ work, buddy!

I may have to go back and look at my first post - if I can find it... It's most likely a 2D image done in Photoshop.

Look for my first (well, maybe second) DAZ piece somewhere around the first of July...
