Description

Captured 5/1/16, at the beautiful Victorian Fair, held on the beautiful grounds of the beautiful Homestead Museum in beautiful City of Industry, California. ZOOM for better detail. My previous bench postings were up in the high double digits, but the exact figure is now lost due to Renderosity's absurd wisdom of remodeling its website.

WOW! What a lovely bench. I love it, I want it :-) Harry I am sorry you lost another bench photo to cyperspace :-/ I like the way they have assured the bench wouldnt scratch the wall and I also love the yard floor. We should have such one. Then we wouldnt have all the grass popping up between the concrete. ;-)

I searched your gallery, then 'bench', and the last numbered item that showed up (after ordering it from 'newest to oldest') was "40". So maybe this is 41. In any case, what an unusual bench---it's so starkly modern, and that blue and near-gold-yellow paint really makes it stand out. Your shot is on an angle that brings out the abstractness of it---with the piece of green window-wood on top, and the tiles on the bottom (both the ground tiles but also the painted tiles behind the bench). Has a real abstract painting quality to it. Fine detail and mellow light, as well as contrasts. Don't know how it is to sit in, lol, but it makes a striking photo.
