What a find. I'd prefer the garden variety mushroom or portabella to eat myself.

I was just wondering if it is edible but I think it is a wise choice to not eat it. Fascinating fungi!

Serve half to a friend, if they are still going in a week should be safe to eat the other half yourself, just a thought, hehe :) Nice shot!

My ex would know as she has gone out to the woods her whole life. I know my ex when crazy one week as our propery and the neighbors exploded with strange looking mushrooms. My ex said they were edible and they were as we eat them that night and the rest went into the dehydrator.

I don't know what kind that is, but it looks interesting. I agree with not eating it if you're not absolutely certain, though.

Amusing and huge looking wild mushrooms !

I really like them " a lot actually " but only buy them from the groc. store or add them on the side in a diner with a meal.

( My opinion only ). Wild mushrooms are slimy in texture and remind me of worms---- Yucky.
