She could hold an AR-15 like that but I think with the drum not a Thompson. Historic armorial exercises for the wrist is something I had fun with in the gym. Ever tried to curl an Olympic bar the long way pointed fore and aft with one wrist? Two bars with both wrists? Draw an Olympic bar like a broadsword from a position as if on your belt and convert to slashing?
