Description
Hello, I’m Shunati tre Vrilion. Most people call me Shun. I don’t mind much as long as if you’re using Menthan or English, as you probably call it, you make sure you don’t get lax and leave off the ‘n’ and call me ‘shoe.' If Vor hears it, he’ll start teasing me again, and I’ll probably have to give him another rash to get him to stop.
You’re probably wondering why I was included since I wasn’t in the last two stories much. The next story will include me a great deal more. I’m not supposed to say much about that, but I will tell you it includes more elves, and you’ll get to see some of Erilu.
I’m a healer and a sensitive. Healers can read injuries and illnesses, and we can cause the body to repair itself rapidly, usually in a matter of moments. Sometimes, if the injury is severe, we will use several treatments over the course of days because in its already weakened state, pushing the body too much can be detrimental.
A sensitive is a mage that can feel magic. Most mages have to use mage sight to be aware of magic around them. I can feel it. It’s similar to when the hair on your arm stands on end because you’re near static. The more magic, the stronger the sensation becomes. Because I’m a healer, it also affects that. I can read things without touching the person. It can come in handy because I can diagnose someone quicker. And when someone is reluctant to be healed, I can tell what’s wrong and give them potions to help. But it can also be a problem. Severe injuries and large crowds overwhelm me.
I’m sure Vor will say something about us looking alike so I’ll just say we aren’t twins. We aren’t even brothers. We’re cousins. I’m five years older and have lighter hair. He’s not a healer so don’t even bother asking him to heal you.
I should go. I have patients. I hope to see you soon.
