Thanks, versionthirteen! The hair is actually pretty easy to do. I drew the outline of the hair area and flood-filled it with a reddish-brown; then I dodged and burned the strands, highlights, and shadows. I also use the smudge tool every now and then to smooth things out.

Wonderful, the slanted eyes give her an elvish look, the excellent blending on her cheeks and chin highlights id great, please post more in this style
