Description

Another favorite (taller) border flower is canna , with a large variety of color choices. This particular shade is popular with Japanese beetles, but red cannas don't seem to be as attractive. Young grape leaves are another fave of the beetles, and I am opting to hand pick the bugs with a water can rather than use any insecticide or poisons. http://www.extension.umn.edu/garden/yard%2Dgarden/flowers/calla-and-canna-lilies/
