My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

The abundance and opulence found in nature often astounds me. Made by chance? NO WAY! Life moves onward, wherever it can find a foothold. As it was said several times in "Jurassic Park", life will always find a way. Beautiful photo. The grave serves as a source of life to new life. Keep up the good work! :-)

Moss? I knew it would bloom but I have never seen anything like this. Do you know what kind it is? How tall is it here?

Wonderful! A field with a wall on a small scale. I have an urge to water it to make it green up.

Love the perspective; I used to walk thru there a lot when I first moved to Humboldt County; it's a beautiful place.

Oooo, la, la. Why didn't I think of this? Another example of us both seeing completely different things in the same place:-)

Because of your pov, it looks like a vast field. I'd not have guessed this was from a grave. But as we view nature from close up, a tiny patch becomes a valley, and that's what you've shown here. Beautiful poc, the lines of the stone (leading to the gravestone, I assume) follow the lines of these moss-stems and buds, and the background ridges make contrast in the other direction. And the hues and sharpness of several waves of these stems are sharp and tactile. Perfect proportions too---the crop fits the content. Beautiful pic, Tara. (I'm skipping around, because I've not commented on a lot.) And perfectly cropped.
