Description
There are moments that seem eternal while waiting for an event and every second seems to increase anxiety as times goes by.

Great. But then how many times does the event justifies the anxiety? Super work!

I've often said that you have some things in common with Magritte. But you're more passionate than Magritte, and deeper. The "Magritte" elements, here, are the clean walls---bare, except for the clocks---and the feeling of precision and exactitude. Everything is in its precise place. Everything is rendered meticulously. And surrounded by clean, open space.
But you go further than Magritte ever did (and further than Magritte wanted to go). This image is about life, cut-off. Cut-up. 'Staccato'. All the living beings in this image are cut off---by a wall. By a doorway. By the frame of the image, itself. The woman in the inner-room is cut off---her body is cut-off by the door---and she's rendered in an exquisite chocolate brown, a dark bronze with a beautiful sheen. She's relaxed and 'pining' (brama?)---though maybe that's too strong a word: She's looking 'into' the wall, as if lost in deep thought. In this image, waiting is accompanied by a journey into time, into our inner minds: She's "in the room," but probably in another world as well. The person in the far-right---I cant tell if it's a female, but I think it is---is walking out of the image. She's rendered in a beautiful deep blue-silver, also with sheen. I love what you do to the human form in your images. Maybe she waited long enough...and she has other things to do. Or maybe she's not waiting at all...she just can't wait for the woman in the inner room. While we wait, other people go on living...
The cat on the far left is also leaving your image. Or, maybe the cat is just "being a cat"---i.e., going about its life, while humans fret and contemplate...
You have 4 clocks, and they are vivid and precise and beautiful. They run through many styles, from old to modern---including an old "grandfather clock" with (I think) a Roman warrior on top. (He looks a bit like Neptune.) The clocks are stark, because they're very clear, and they're surrounded by bright, open space. Everything in this world is clear and vivid, even while the humans' thoughts are far-far-away.
Finally, an hour glass---which looks nearly-emptied, as if the hour is almost terminated. On And a beautiful wood floor...You combine opulence and vividness with open space and pondering thought. It's a beautiful image, and it captures your thought beautifully. I hope your viewers see all your art full-size (zoomed), because it's almost criminal to see it any smaller.
