Description
Captured 6/14/16 @ 8:32 am, in the front yard of a resident about half a mile from home.
I have no idea as to the most impressive red mineral content of the rock. The owner said he found it in Big Bear, California.
110.5 Fahrenheit/43.6 Celsius degrees in my patio today.

Nice rock - hard to tell how big it is from this photo. 110 is very hot indeed - good weather to spend chilling out indoors...

I had such a red rock here. Dont know where it is now. If I find it again, ill take a shot. Ahh! I think I remember where it is.... Its in the bird bath LOL ! For the birds to stand on. I guess it isnt worth taking a shot of now, as there are algaes on it.

A lovely clear capture of this beautiful rock. What a story it could tell of how it got to be like this. 😀

Copper? Iron oxide? A cool rock whatever makes it so red!
