Description

I have spent the afternoon at AUB Summer shows and was very impressed by this very clever and though provoking installation. The wooden pieces are suspended from a roof frame and lit to cast the shadows. I cannot begin to imagine how long it took to get right! The left wall says 'Be mindful stay in the moment'. I know many of you don't like this sort of thing but you don't have to like something to appreciate it! If you haven't managed or can't be bothered to read it it says 'Thoughts are just thoughts, mental events, just because you think it, doesn't mean it's true'.

Although some words are visible, it appears to be a Love letter in code.

Just reread what you had written above, and Voila it all made a lot more sense.

This is a cool and creative invention, but again so was sliced bread.. I have always been locked inside the box and when I happen to break out --- the people around me think the sky is going to fall in.

See I am not very artistic as you and often miss the opportunity to appreciate some of the most interesting subjects out there to work with.

The finished product quiet often catches my attention and my admiration for the Artist blooms as well.

Very creative and a little maddening. Do you happen to know in what institution the artist currently resides? The last word may be 'true' but I saw 'love'.

WOW! That is indeed a fabulous creation. And it was appealing to me in two ways. First, I could find some of the words, not all, but some of them. Second, I simply love the pattern it gives on the wall :)
